Airtel: Airtel 5G Plus service now live in Haridwar – Times of India

Airtel recently rolled out its 5G services in 16 cities of West Bengal. The telco has now rolled out Airtel 5G Plus service in Haridwar. The Airtel 5G Plus service is already live in Dehradun.
Presently, the Airtel 5G Plus service is now operational at Har Ki Pauri, Jagjeetpur, Shivalik Nagar, Jwalapur, Bahadrabad, Ranipur, Khanna Nagar and Brampuri. Airtel will augment its network making its services available across the city in due course of time.
Airtel users with 5G-enabled smartphones can access Airtel 5G Plus service at the above-mentioned locations. Users must keep in mind that they don’t need a new SIM card to access the 5G services. The Airtel subscribers can access its 5G services on their existing 4G SIM card. Also, presently the telecom operator is offering 5G services at no additional cost. So, the users don’t have to pay extra money to access Airtel 5G Plus.

Here’s what the company said about the 5G Plus rollout in Haridwar
Sovan Mukherjee, CEO Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh, Bharti Airtel said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Haridwar in addition to Dehradun. Airtel customers in these two cities can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.”
