Airtel 5G Plus service now available in 4 cities of Kerala – Times of India

Airtel has already expanded its 5G services to more than 25 cities. Further expanding its 5G Plus service the telco has now rolled out the Airtel 5G Plus in 4 cities of Kerala. The Airtel 5G Plus service is now live in Kozhikode, Trivandrum and Thrissur. The service provider already offers 5G services in Kochi.
The Airtel 5G Plus service is operational at the below mentioned locations

Customers with 5G-enabled smartphones can access Airtel 5G service at the above-mentioned locations. Airtel users must remember that they don’t need a new SIM card to access the 5G services. Subscribers can avail of the 5G services on their existing 4G SIM. Also, presently the telecom operator is offering 5G services at no additional cost. So, the users don’t have to pay extra money to access Airtel 5G Plus.

Speaking about the roll out, Amit Gupta COO, Bharti Airtel, Kerala said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Kozhikode, Trivandrum and Thrissur in addition to Kochi. Airtel customers in these four cities can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.”

Airtel has also updated its Thanks app which now allows users to check the 5G compatibility of their smartphone. Users can also check the availability of Airtel 5G Plus in their location with the help of the app. Just make sure that you have a 5G-enabled handset to use the 5G services.
