Airtel 5G Plus service is now live in Vizag – Times of India

After launching its 5G service in Ahmedabad, Airtel has now rolled out the Airtel 5G Plus service in Vizag.
The Airtel 5G Plus service is presently available in Dwarkanagar, Beach Road, Dhaba gardens, Maddilapalem, Waltair Uplands, Purna Market, Gajuwaka JN, MVP Colony, Ramnagar, Railway station road, Tenneti nagar and few other select locations. Customers with 5G enabled devices will enjoy high speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the roll out is more widespread.
The Airtel 5G Plus users will be able to access High Definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.
Commenting about the launch, Shivan Bhargava, CEO, Bharti Airtel, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Vizag. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.”

Airtel has also updated its Thanks app which now allows users to check the 5G compatibility of their smartphone. Users can also check the availability of Airtel 5G Plus in their location with the help of the app. Just make sure that you have a 5G-enabled handset to use the 5G services. Recently, Airtel announced World Pass, which is a series of international roaming plans for both prepaid and postpaid connections that works across a large number of countries — 184 to be exact. The World Pass plans also includes additional benefits such as 24×7 customer support and other benefits.
