Adobe Lightroom gets support for Pixel 7 RAW images – Times of India

Adobe has updated its Lightroom app with support for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro RAW images. The new addition makes it easier for users to edit RAW pictures captured from Pixel 7 series phones.
The RAW file support arrives with October 2022 update. It is available for Adobe Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Camera RAW applications. Users can update their Camera RAW to version 15, Adobe Lightroom to version 6 and Lightroom Classic to version 12 to get Pixel 7 phones RAW support. Along with this, the company has also added camera support for iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max with the update.
Adobe keeps adding support for newly launched smartphones and its camera support to Adobe Lightroom. Last year, the company added support for Pixel 6 series and iPhone 13 series devices.
Those who are wondering what the support for smartphones means for Lightroom given that Lightroom can already handle RAW images. The only difference you are going to notice is with the lens correction profiles.
For those unaware, Adobe recently launched Photoshop and Premiere Pro Elements 2023. The updated version brings support for Mac running Apple Silicon and some new features. The Photoshop Elements 2023 and Premiere Elements 2023 now come with support for Adobe’s own AI and machine learning system called Sensei. Apart from that, the company also announced the web and mobile companion apps for both.
