Acer announces six new laptops with Windows 11 in India starting at Rs 55,999 – Times of India

Acer has announced six new laptops in India that are powered by the latest Windows 11 out-of-the-box. The stable version of Windows 11 OS was recently released globally and we are already seeing laptops running on the fresh version of Microsoft’s latest OS version in India.
The newly launched laptops are included in Acer’s Swift, Aspire, and Spin series. The price of these laptops start at Rs 54,999 and go all the way up to Rs 1,29,999. Acer Swift X, Swift 3, Aspire 5, Aspire 3, Spin 3, and Spin 5 are the newly launched laptops in India. Here are some of the details about these laptops:
Acer Aspire 5 (Thin and Light Laptop): Price starts at Rs 54,999
This is the most affordable one among all the six newly launched laptops. This new-gen Acer Aspire 5 comes with an AMD Ryzen 5-5500U hexa-core processor with 8GB RAM that’s upgradable upto 24GB. It comes with a full-fledged keyboard with a backlight and even a num-pad. Acer claims that this device can last up to 12 hours on a full charge.
The Acer Aspire 5 is also equipped with hybrid storage that combines SSD and HDD configuration with up to 2TB HDD and 512GB SSD options. It also comes with a fingerprint reader, USB-C port, HDMI port, and an improved cooling system with an option to control fan speed. Other features include 8GB RAM, Wi-Fi 6, and a 15.6-inch full HD LED-backlit TFT LCD display.
Acer Aspire 3: Price starts at Rs 59,000
The Acer Aspire 3 is powered by Intel Core i5 11-gen processor with 4GB RAM that’s upgradable upto 12GB. These laptops also have hybrid storage that supports HDD and SSD options. It has a 15.6-inch full HD LED-backlit TFT LCD display screen and runs on Windows 11 Home 64 bit. It weighs 1.7 Kg and has a full keyboard with numpad.
Acer Swift 3 (SF314-511): Price starts at Rs 62,999
The Acer Swift 3 will be available in two configurations 一 11th Gen Intel Core processors and AMD Ryzen 5000U series processor, but the intel processor one will cost you more. It comes in a metal chassis and Intel Iris Xe graphics (in the higher model) along with Thunderbolt 4 port. For connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 6 and the machine weighs just 1.2 kg.
In terms of battery, Acer claims that this laptop will last up to 12 hours on a single charge with a 48Wh battery that is also supported with fast charge. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and has 512GB SSD storage. For display, you get a 14-inch full HD IPS screen.
Acer Swift X (SFX14-41G): Price starts at Rs 84,999
The new Acer Swift X is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5000 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. It comes with a dedicated 4GB Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU along with an integrated AMD Radeon Graphics.
The Acer Swift X comes with 16GB of RAM and can be upgraded to 2TB SSD storage. It has a 14-inch full HD IPS screen up front and weighs 1.39 kg which also packs a 59Wh battery that claims to run upto 17 hours and support fast charging.
Acer Spin 3 convertible laptop: Price starts at Rs 99,999
The Acer Spin 3 and Spin 5 are 2-in-1 laptops with touch screen displays. The Spin 3 comes with a 13.3-inch IPS display along with Acer Active Stylus. The machine is powered by an 11th gen Intel i5 processor clocked at 4.2Ghz speed with Intel Iris Xe graphics and supports the Intel Evo platform. The built-in charger recharges the stylus and itself packs a 56Wh battery that claims to run upto 15 hours. It weighs 1.4 kg and has 8GB RAM on board with 512GB SSD storage.
Acer Spin 5: Price starts at Rs 99,999
The Acer Spin 5 will also be running on an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor clocked at 4.7Ghz speed and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Acer claims that this laptop will also offer up to 15 hours of battery life with its 56Wh battery. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. This laptop comes with a 13.5-inch LED-backlit TFT LCD display and an HD webcam that records 720p HD audio/video.
