Several Bollywood celebrities attended the prayer meeting of Mumbai restaurateur Kishor Bajaj. From Sanjay Dutt to Aamir Khan to Shraddha Kapoor, several actors arrived to pay their last respect to Bajaj who died on March 17. An emotional Sanjay Dutt in white outfit was seen arriving at the prayer venue with his sisters, Priya and Namrata. Aamir Khan attended the meeting with his ex-wife Kiran Rao.

Besides this Saira Banu made a rare appearance as well. Others to attend were Jackie Shroff, Bhavana Panday alongside Chunky Panday, Boman Irani, Satish Shah, Tina Ambani, Alanna Panday and her husband Ivor among a few others from the industry. Several businessmen were also seen at the meeting.

Salim Khan was accompanied by his younger son Sohail Khan. This is the filmmaker, lyricist’s first public appearance since Salman Khan received a threatening email and his security was beefed up. Reportedly, Salman is currently not in Mumbai. However, the security around his Galaxy apartment has been tightened owing to the situation.

Mumbai police have imposed restrictios on fans from gathering around Salman Khan’s house. An FIR against three persons – Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and a third person named Rohit – for allegedly sending a threat email to Salman’s office has been registered. Last year, Salman and Salim received a ‘threat letter’, following which the Dabangg actor was given a Y+ category security cover by the Maharashtra government.

Kishor Bajaj was quite popularly known among the actors in the film industry. He was the founder of the Badasaab Group and launched the first Michelin restaurant of the country, Hakkasan in Mumbai. Later, he launched Yauatcha, a popular tea and dim sum stop in London, to Mumbai and many other outlets, including CinCin, a celebrity favourite Italian restaurant and bar in the city. It’s operating since 2017 and remains a popular spot.

While the reason behind Kishor’s death is unknown, reportedly he was unwell for some time before his death. He was reportedly 50-60 years old.
