Vivo launches Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 rival, X Fold+: All you need to know – Times of India

Vivo finally took the wraps off its latest foldable phone — Vivo X Fold+. Rival to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Vivo X Fold+ is the second foldable smartphone of the company. The foldable phone features an 8-inch 2K internal display and a 6.53-inch external screen. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset and it has borrowed its design from its predecessor.
The Vivo X Fold+ comes with a starting price tag of 9,999 yuan (Rs 1,14,100). The foldable smartphone comes in Red, Mountain Blue and Black colour options. It will go on sale in China on September 29. The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet revealed any details about the India launch of the smartphone.
Vivo X Fold+ specifications
Vivo X Fold+ sports an 8.03-inch internal 2K display with 2160×1916 pixel resolution. The display offers up to 120Hz of refresh rate and is covered with SCHOTT’s flexible ultra-thin glass (UTG). There’s also a 6.53-inch external screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display is covered with SCHOTT’s Xensation α (Alpha) glass.
The foldable smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OriginOS Ocean.
Vivo X Fold+ sports a quad-rear camera powered by Zeiss optics. The rear camera comprises 50MP main sensor with f/1.57 aperture, 48MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 12MP portrait camera with f/1.98 aperture and 8MP periscope camera with f/3.4 aperture. Front is home to a 16MP selfie camera on the inside and outside. The smartphone also comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor on the inside and outside.
Vivo X Fold+ is backed by a 4,730 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging support.
