OnePlus 10T launched in India: Price, features and more – Times of India
At an event here in New York, OnePlus launched its second flagship smartphone — the OnePlus 10T — of 2022. The OnePlus 10T is the first ’T’ phone from the company after the OnePlus 8T in 2020. OnePlus has dropped its popular alert slider functionality with the OnePlus 10T.
OnePlus 10T: Price and availability
OnePlus 10T 5G will be available in three variants — 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 256GB. The base 8GB variant is priced at Rs 49,999, while the 12GB variant costs Rs 54,999. The top of the line 16GB variant is priced at Rs 55,999. Pre-orders for the phone is now live and is set to go on sale starting August 6 via company’s official website and Amazon.
OnePlus 10T: Key specifications
The OnePlus 10T features a 6.7 inch FHD+ display with 120 Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of upto 950 nits The OnePlus 10T’s display has an adaptive refresh rate, meaning it is able to adjust between 120 Hz, 90 Hz, and 60 Hz depending on the type of content being consumed. This, as per the company, helps in saving the battery life of the smartphone.
The OnePlus 10T looks very similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro and features a unibody glass design. The OnePlus 10T is available in Moonstone Black and Jade Green colour options.
The OnePlus 10T is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform that offers up to 3.2 GHz peak CPU speeds with 30% improved CPU power efficiency. The OnePlus 10T also has an improved Qualcomm Adreno GPU with up to 10% faster GPU clock speeds and support for better gaming performance.
The OnePlus 10T is fitted with 15 antennas that, according to OnePlus, deliver stronger Wi-Fi and cellular signals, no matter which orientation the device is used. One of the reasons why the alert slider has been dropped is these antennas, as per OnePlus.
The OnePlus 10T also has a feature called AMP Connect that is designed to reduce mutual interference between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections when both functions are enabled.
The OnePlus 10T supports 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition charging that claims to fully charge – from 1-100% – in 19 minutes only. The smartphone is powered by a 4800mAh battery.
OxygenOS 12.1 comes pre-installed on the OnePlus 10T and is expected to get OxygenOS 13 soon. The OnePlus 10T will receive three major Android updates and four years of security updates.
OnePlus 10T: Camera specifications
The OnePlus 10T features a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera has the 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor. The OnePlus 10T’s main camera is capable of capturing photos in full 10-bit colour, which the company claims offers 64 times more colour than smartphones that shoot in 8-bit colour.
There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 119.9 degrees field of view. Users also get a 2 MP macro camera. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera with EIS.
