Anushka Sharma goes Mere Samne Wali Khidki Mein as she shares pic from Paris

On Tuesday, Anushka Sharma shared a picture of herself from Paris. In the picture, a laughing Anushka posed in a balcony. Anushka recently shared a picture from her hotel room in Paris in as she ate a croissant. Sharing the picture, Anushka wrote a line from Kishore Kumar’s song Mere Samne Wali Khidki Mein. She captioned the picture, “Mere saamne wali khidki mein (In the window across mine)… Paris musings.”

One person commented, “Are you a Kishore Kumar fan?” Another one said, “Such beautiful pictures.” Requesting her for more photos, one said, “Upload more pictures from London na.” Many others dropped heart emojis in the comments section of her post.

A few days back, she shared pictures of herself in a bathrobe, eating croissants. She captioned it, “When is Paris .. eat many croissants.” She had also shared pictures on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Being very Parisian here… breakfast of coffee and croissant was devoured.” In the next picture, she added, “Sahi mein bohat sahi tha (It was actually very good).” In the end, Anushka shared a clip of a sunset and wrote, “Au revoir (Goodbye until we meet again) Paris.”

Earlier this month, Anushka announced the first schedule wrap of her upcoming sports biopic, Chakda Express. Sharing a picture of herself holding a ball, Anushka wrote, “Schedule one done. More to follow #ChakdaExpress.” The film marks her comeback to acting after her last release Zero in 2018 with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Directed by Prosit Roy, Chakda Express is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. It will be released on Netflix. Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma is producing the film under his home production company Clean Slate Filmz.
