Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is all set to launch its popular K-series smartphone in the Indian market today (July 20). Earlier this month, the company announced the launch of the upcoming K-series smartphone via a tweet on its Twitter handle. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and runs Android 12 operating system.
Redmi K50i will succeed the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro launched back in 2019.

Redmi K50i expected specifications
Redmi K50i is said to sport a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate and up to 650 nits of brightness. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.
Redmi K50i is expected to feature a triple rear camera with a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. Front could be home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
Redmi K50i is rumoured to run Android 12 operating system and pack 128GB internal storage. The smartphone is also said to come with microSD card support. The upcoming Redmi K-series smartphone is speculated to pack a 5080 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
