microsoft: Read deleted posts reportedly from recruiters from Microsoft and Amazon to invite Tesla employees upset with return-to-office demand – Times of India
Earlier this week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk sent two emails to the company’s employees where he asked them to mandatorily work from their main offices for minimum of 40 hours a week or else leave the company. Musk reportedly said in one of the emails that if an employee continues to work remotely, he will assume that he/she has
resigned.
Thw back-to-office ultimatum reportedly made technical recruiters from rivals Amazon and Microsoft invite employees upset with the new directive at Tesla. Zafar Choudhury, who identifies himself as a technical recruiting leader at Amazon Web Services on LinkedIn, issued a call to Tesla engineers to join the ecommerce giant. A similar call was reportedly made by Tiana Watts-Porter, technical recruiter at Microsoft, on LinkedIn inviting Tesla employees. Both the execs, however, deleted the posts later.
Here are the LinkedIn posts:
Zafar Choudhury of Amazon: If the Emperor of Mars doesn’t want you, I’ll be happy to bring you over to #AWS.
Tiana Watts-Porter of Microsoft: Here at Microsoft and our affiliates LinkedIn and GitHub we are offering ALL THE OPTIONS!!! You can do things your way, and be yourself here at Microsoft! And if that includes working in your pajamas at home, that’s just fine and dandy.
The duo’s posts follows a series of leaked emails and follow-up tweets from Elon Musk that instruct Tesla employees to bid goodbye to complete remote working.
