Sony has recently announced the next State of Play for this month. PlayStation’s State of Play for June 2022 event will reveal some new games as well as share details about upcoming titles that have been previously revealed. The event will offer details about new games for the much-awaited PSVR 2 and we may also get a release date for the new VR headset. Here’s how you can watch PlayStation State of Play June 2022 live and what you can expect from the event:

How to watch PlayStation State of Play June 2022

PlayStation State of Play for June 2022 is scheduled to take place on June 3 at 3:30 AM. You can watch the event live via PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. State of Play will run for 30 minutes and it will also be available as a video after the event ends.

What can you expect from PlayStation State of Play June 2022

Sony has said that the State of Play will feature “exciting reveals from our third-party partners, plus a sneak peek at several games in development for PlayStation VR2.” PlayStation fans can expect first-party games for PSVR 2, which could include an in-depth look at the previously announced Horizon Call of the Mountain. Besides these, players can also expect some third-party PSVR 2 games as well as a release date for PSVR 2. Rumours suggest that PSVR 2 could launch at the end of this year or early 2023.

Since Sony has specifically mentioned that only third-party games will be revealed, first-party games like God of War: Ragnarok and The Last of Us Remake may not make an appearance. Sony may host another event for these games soon as it seems like God of War: Ragnarok release date is coming closer. PlayStation has already added God of War as this month’s PS Plus Essential game along with other games, which could be a marketing effort from Sony. Besides these, we may get an update about Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XVI.
