redmi: Redmi Note 10S with 8GB RAM launched in India – Times of India

Redmi launched the Redmi Note 10S smartphone in the Indian market in May. At that time, the smartphone was introduced in two variants with different storage options along with 6GB of RAM. Now, the company has launched a new variant of Redmi Note 10S with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The new variant is priced at Rs 16,499 and will be available to purchase on Amazon.com, Mi.com and Mi Home stores from December 3. For context, the Note 10S with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs 17,499 and the variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999.
A few months ago, Redmi also launched a Redmi Note 10S Cosmic Purple colour variant in India. This was the fourth colour variant of the smartphone as it was already available in Shadow Black, Frost White and Deep Sea Blue colour options.
Redmi Note 10S specifications
Redmi Note 10S sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display is made scratch-resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 11 operating system topped with MIUI 12.
Redmi Note 10S is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB. Users can add more storage to the smartphone by inserting a microSD card.
Redmi Note 10S features a quad-rear camera setup which comprises a 48MP main sensor, 8MP 118° ultra-wide sensor, 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera. The selfie lovers will get a 13MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone comes with a water-resistant design and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It houses a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
