NEW DELHI: Samsung is all set to unveil something new. The company has scheduled its next ‘Galaxy Unpacked Part 2’ event for today (October 20). The event will begin at 7.30 pm IST today and will be live streamed on Samsung.com.
The company has not yet revealed as to what it will showcase at the event, but various rumours suggest that Samsung might launch its much-awaited Galaxy S21 FE smartphone. There are chances that Samsung might finally launch the Fan Edition of Galaxy S21 today.
The launch of the smartphone has faced major delays due to the ongoing chip shortage. If launched, the smartphone will succeed the last year launched Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Expected specifications)
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to feature a 6.4-inch display. The handset is expected to be backed by a 4500mAh battery. The smartphone is also said to come with 25W fast charging support. The smartphone is said to come in four colour options and sport a triple rear camera.
The upcoming S-series smartphone is expected to come with a central punch-hole display. Samsung is also expected not to include a charger in the sales box Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
It is also said that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will come with IP68 rating which will make it water-resistant. This means that the smartphone can stay submerged in 1.5 meters of fresh water for 30 minutes. Along with this, the smartphone will also include Dolby Atmos support, NFC and reverse wireless charging.
