Airtel is already offering its 5G plus service in more than 3,500 cities in the country. Now the telecom operator has announced that the Airtel 5G Plus service is now available across Kochi’s water metro stations.
Airtel’s 5G service is available to customers along the route of the Kerala Water Metro service between the High Court-Vypin terminals and the Vyttila-Kakkanad terminals.
Commenting on the availability of Airtel 5G service across Kochi’s water metro stations, Amit Gupta, COO, Kerala, Bharti Airtel, said, “We are delighted to be at the forefront of such a transformative project, delivering last-mile connectivity. It is yet another milestone in our ambition to deliver blazing fast 5G speeds to as many of our customers as possible, including on waterways. What Airtel users need to do to access its 5G service
In order to utilize Airtel’s 5G service, individuals must be located in a city or area that has 5G coverage. To stay updated on notifications and alerts regarding 5G availability, users can refer to the Airtel Thanks app. Those interested in using Airtel 5G Plus smartphones, they need to switch their preferred network type to 5G. No new SIM card is required to access the Airtel 5G Plus service; users can simply utilize their existing SIM card. Furthermore, users can continue using their current data plans to access the Airtel 5G Plus service and are not obligated to purchase a new plan.

Airtel has launched a new Unlimited Data Offer to meet the demands of its customers. This offer is open to both postpaid users and prepaid subscribers who have subscribed to a data plan priced at Rs 239 or higher.
