Samsung Galaxy F54 could carry Galaxy A54’s processor and still be priced lower | Digit
Samsung Galaxy F54 is an upcoming Galaxy F-series smartphone whose specs have been tipped by Debayan Roy, aka GadgetsData. He has tipped key specs of the F54 which include the Exynos 1380 SoC, that’s found within Galaxy A54 as well. It could be specced more powerful than A54 and still cost you less.
Samsung Galaxy F54 vs A54 specs
As already prefaced, here we will be taking into account the tipped details of Galaxy F54 and comparing them to the official specs of Galaxy A54.
This thought of comparison came to us because of Mr Roy’s claim that the F54 could be powered by Exynos 1380 chipset.
The internal hardware of the Samsung Galaxy F54 could also consist of a 6000mAh battery with 25W charging support. Although the charging speed supported by Galaxy A54 is the same, it is fueled by a smaller 5000mAh battery.
The front of the Galaxy F54 could come protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which is also found on the Galaxy A54. However, on the back, the F54 could cheap out by using plastic whereas the A54 has got Gorilla Glass 5 on the back also.
While the A54 sports an under-display fingerprint reader, the F54 could come with a side-mounted scanner.
The camera setup on the two phones could also be different. The A54 sports a 50MP primary camera (w/ OIS) followed by a 12MP ultrawide snapper and a 5MP macro module. Whereas the Galaxy F54 could reportedly come with a 108MP main camera (also with OIS), an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro sensor.
On the front though, both phones could flaunt a 32MP selfie clicker.
The similarities between the two could extend to the presence of a hybrid SIM slot and WiFi 6 support.
Samsung Galaxy F54 vs A54 price and availability
Samsung Galaxy A54 is available online primarily on Amazon (among other outlets) at ₹36,000 for the 8+128GB base variant.
On the other hand, the Galaxy F54 could be Flipkart Exclusive and start between ₹26,000 and ₹27,000.
Now, only time will tell if these details are accurate. Till they are officially confirmed, please take them with a pinch of salt.
