Step inside Alanna Panday’s cool and modern family home in Mumbai with the prettiest interiors. Watch

Actor Ananya Panday’s cousin Alanna Panday, who married longtime boyfriend Ivor McCray on March 16 this year, has posted a house tour video. She took to her YouTube channel on Friday to share a glimpse of her family home in Mumbai, where she also had some of her pre-wedding functions last month. Alanna, who is a social media personality and model, took fans into her perfectly-designed family home with a cool vibe in every room. Opening the door of her Mumbai home, Alanna said, “This is where we have stayed for the past maybe 17 or 20 years. Before this we used to stay in a joint family with Ananya and Rysa (Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey’s daughters). The kids grew up, then I think it was time for everyone to get their own space. So we live here now. It’s just my mom, me, Ahaan (her brother) and my dad.” Alanna is the daughter of actor Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday and his wife, fitness expert Deanne Panday.

The home opens to a spacious front yard with a huge dining table and more than a dozen chairs. For a relaxing, cafe vibe, there are lots of potted plants placed around the space. Like the rest of the house, the front yard also has a grey and wheat-toned furniture and walls. There’s also a sitout area with extra large, comfortable sofas and lots of trees and plants of different sizes as well as Buddha statues in different textures and colours, giving the whole place a Zen, vacation home vibe.

Inside the house – from the staircase and common areas to the living room – the modern decor – think minimal cream walls and white sofas with huge cushions – gives a calm, cool vibe. From a private terrace with black-and-white tiles to a quaint wooden staircase and a cream and beige living room with everything in neutral tones, the entire house is not one bit over-the-top. There’s little bit of colour by way of huge paintings, and lots of artifacts and textured cushions thrown in here and there to add interest to the spacious living spaces. In her home tour video, Alanna also spoke about her family dogs, who use a waterbody near the entrance as their swimming room.

Alanna, who lives in Los Angeles, often visits her family home in Mumbai. Last month, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shanaya Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor and many other celebs were spotted in Alanna’s wedding videos and photos that were widely shared on social media.
