‘I was 12 years old with her pictures on my wall and became my wife,’ Nick Cannon recalls about ex-lover Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon couldn’t help but express his deep admiration for his ex-wife Mariah Carey. He reminisced about the time when he first fell in love with the pop star and referred to her as ‘the love of his life’. Nick spoke at length about Mariah, describing her as a gift from God who possesses both human and divine qualities. He praised her for being the coolest person he knows, always avoiding negativity and doing things for others. In his eyes, she is not just a regular human being, but someone truly extraordinary. During a recent interview with The Shade Room, Nick talked about his ex-wife Mariah. He expressed his liking for her for the human she is. He gave an account of how he was her fan, and said, “Like the greatest? I mean, I always talk about that. Then it goes viral, and our fans get mad at me. But I was 12 years old with Mariah Carey pictures on my wall, and that becomes my wife. And the fact that she’s the coolest person I ever met.”

He did not stop praising her, and shared, “I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her. She’s just always happy, always doing for others. No matter what’s happening in life. I’m like, Wow, a person can really operate like that and don’t allow negative energy into their space.”

Nick went on to say, “When I discovered how truly remarkable she was,” before expressing that Carey is a precious gift from God, adding, “That woman is not human. She’s a gift from God.”

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey tied the knot in 2008 and were married for eight years before their divorce in 2016. Together, they have two children, 11-year-old twins named Monroe and Moroccan. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, Cannon and Carey have made it clear that their focus remains on their children and their family unit. They have been known to co-parent effectively and support each other in their respective endeavors.
